I love to keep my mind and body active, one of my favorite things to do is play sports. I am particularly fond of playing soccer and volleyball but enjoy trying all types of activities. During summers I enjoy exploring the city and the mountains with my friends and my Shiba Inu.

About Me

I am currently pursuing a doctorate in dental surgery at the University of Colorado Anschutz. I graduated undergrad at its sister campus the University of Colorado Denver with my bachelors in Biology. Upon graduation I plan on practicing and providing dental care to underserved populations.

Experience

I currently tutor conversational clinical Spanish with an emphasis on dental terminology. I am a native Spanish speaker and have taken 5 years of Spanish literature/ composition. In undergrad I have provided tutoring services for chemistry, biology, pre-calculus, and calculus. I hope that I would be able to help others learn and become passionate about doing so.

Approach

As a professional student, I know the discipline and perseverance it takes to complete your goals and I'm happy to help others find the way to achieve theirs. I've always loved learning but I haven't had people to encourage me along the way, as such, it was hard to maintain the discipline to finish projects and study on my own. However, once I found a purpose and a career plan, I gained the drive I needed. If nothing else, I would like to push students to find their drive and encourage them.
