I'm from Southern California, and I moved to Texas a few years ago so that I may continue going to college and also to be able to experience a new culture. I work for In n Out for 7 years and I still think it is an awesome company to work for. I very much enjoy rock climbing. I love to eat and try new foods, and I especially enjoy candy.

About Me

My full name is Yoalticitl, who was the Aztec goddes of children, but I'm best known as Roxy. I attend the arlington">University of Texas in Arlington. I am Bilingual, proficient in Spanish.

I love to read, cook and bake, but I can onllly do these during Summer and Winter breaks.

Experience

As a member of Avid , I had the opportunity to help my fellow classmates in different subjects in high school. I was in the Avid program for 6 years. When I still lived at home I helped me younger siblings with their classes, and since I am so far away from home now I would still like to keep helping others in any pproblems they may have in school.

Approach

I like to make learning fun. I feel like students are more interested if they are enjoying what they are learning. I like to relate what they are learning to things they enjoy doing. I believe that with positive reinforcement the student will be more willing to learn. I am also very organized. I love to color coordinate different sections of a math problem so that you can clearly see what the next step is to solve it.
