Fun Facts

I love to read, spend time with family and run. I have run a half marathon and am training to run another. I read three newspapers daily. I got in the habit of doing this when I was in college. My university had a daily newspaper and I really enjoyed reading it. I was an avid comic book collector. I started collecting when I was 10, and while I no longer collect, I have kept all of them for my son.. I have an amazing 5 year old son. Our family loves to go for walks and take road trips. I love to eat, cook, and try new restaurants.

About Me

I currently work developing and initiating FDA regulated trials for Brooke Army Medical Center. I'm in the process of going back to school to earn my Master's in Public Health. I want to be able to lead and help individuals in the medical field to accomplish their goals.

The students I've taught have all been able to improve their grades. I can recall a particular student who, after being tutored by me, was able to complete a Physiology test and obtain a higher score than I had. I have also prepared students to take standardized tests. All of the students that were in the class had already taken the test but wanted to improve their score. Each one of them was able to improve their score by at least 10 points.

I know that my success as a tutor comes from the accomplishments of my students. I strive to make each student feel confident in their knowledge and to feel that they can reach their learning goals. I work tirelessly to ensure that all of my students feel that they are prepared to complete their tasks. I feel that through asking questions and helping them find the solutions to problems they can get the positive reinforcement that they need.
