I am a huge sports geek! Not only did I start freelance sports writing back in 2012, but I also have multiple podcasts talking about both soccer and football. I'm hoping to parlay these into getting my own radio show.

About Me

I graduated from the University of North Florida with my bachelor's in math back in 2009, and attended graduate school for two years before changing paths, and I recently started my own business.

Experience

I always had what some would call a knack for both all sorts of math and teaching. When the opportunity first came to be an on-campus tutor at UNF in 2007, I jumped at the chance. Some students liked me so much they became my first private clients, and everything took off from there. Even to today I relish the opportunity to help someone with their math questions.

Approach

As a student, especially in college, I remember a lot of long nights in front of my whiteboard, and going to my professor's office hours for help in just sorting out that one part of the problem. I also understand how frustrating it can be when the material is daunting, or the teacher's style doesn't quite fit. As a tutor, I take all of that experience and ensure that there are no bad questions and every type of process is welcome. The better my student feels, the better I feel.
