Fun Facts

I have spent the majority of my life in Houston, Texas, where the international community resulted in a love for traveling. I spent a year traveling around the word and have visited over 40 countries in my lifetime. In high school, I kept busy with sports such as football and participating in various academic clubs and teams. I love learning new things and because of this have spent the last ten years in educations, where I taught multiple subjects and served as a high school principal.

About Me

I am a coach for leaders in various industries across the US and provide instructional leadership training and support for principals in K-12. Previously, I served as principal of a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon high school campus. I have had the honor of earning a Top Texans Under 30 award, Bachelors Degree from Duke University, and Masters from St. Thomas.

Experience

Throughout high school I worked with students ranging from sixth grade to twelfth grade in all subjects. I tutored across multiple subject areas. I also served as a tutor in college. Most recently, as a professional educator, I have tutored middle and high school students across many different subject areas.

Approach

My tutoring approach focuses on building a healthy tutoring relationship in order to make the student as comfortable as possible and to ensure optimal communication. I approach my work with a growth mindset, as I believe it's possible to help any student grow. I attempt to instill this belief in all of my sessions. I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but also the mindset and study skills to carry on in all learning situations.
