Besides my passion for reading, I love to travel and also enjoy cooking. I love Chicago pizza but I also like the pizza I make at home with home grown tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella cheese!

About Me

I am a recently retired school librarian that loves to ignite a passion for reading!

Experience

I began my teaching career in private schools in my home town of Chicago. I completed my Masters degree at Dominican University. After moving to Texas in 1996, I worked as a school librarian for 21 years.

Approach

I believe that there are no children who don’t like to read, only those that have not yet discovered the book that is just right for them. As a tutor, I would assess a student’s strengths and weaknesses. I would continue by building a foundation to improve study skills and reading comprehension.
