Fun Facts

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and dancing is still my first love. I have taken classes in modern, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and west african dance. I have always wanted to learn how to ballroom dance and have recently joined a club that will help me do just that! I am originally from a small town in New Jersey, but I have really been enjoying living in Philadelphia.

About Me

I am a senior Biology major at Drexel University. I plan on attending medical school after graduation to pursue a career in pediatrics. I am a volunteer at Fox Chase Cancer Center, a member of the Alliance for Minority Participation Scholars, and a recipient of the Drexel Dean Scholarship.

Experience

While in high school, I was a member of the National Honors Society. As a member I was required to offer philadelphia">tutoring in my strongest subjects: Latin, Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, English, and Biology. I completed 50 hours of philadelphia">tutoring with 10 different students. While in college, I volunteered at Lincoln Elementary School in Newark, NJ as a class aide. Approach

I tailor my philadelphia">tutoring approach to the learning style of the student. I use a variety of different methods including those that appeal to the visual, audio, and hands-on learner. I take pride in preparing each individual, and giving them all the tools necessary to succeed.
