I love playing basketball and football with my friends. Sports are my favorite pastime and you can catch me talking about the Dallas Cowboys or Dallas Mavericks any time of the day! I enjoy playing piano and graphic designing, though I am not the best, but both activities are peaceful to me.

About Me

I am a current sophomore biology major at the University of Texas at Dallas. When I graduate, I hope to attend Duke University for Medical School. My goal is to become an Orthopedic Surgeon and be able to run my own clinic eventually!

Experience

As a part of National Honor Society, I was given the chance to tutor under privilege kids in our district. I continued with this throughout my junior year and till my senior year. That is the only experience that I have with tutoring, but I am eager to be able to provide more students any help that they may need!

Approach

Being an Indian American, grades are very much stressed in my household. Throughout middle school and high school, I struggled with multiple classes and need tutoring to make sure that I was on track. Tutors uplift a sense of hopelessness in school as they can be seen as friends that also know the kind of struggle you may be going through, I know the feeling of being overwhelmed or frightened because you may not be doing well in certain subjects, and those very reasons are why I want to tutor.
