Fun Facts

I really am just a regular guy. I have 2 dogs, Charlie and Daisy, who require all of my attention. My wife and I like to walk at local parks, try new food and relax on our couch binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix. Our favorite ones include The Office and The Cosmos with Neil Degrasse Tyson. We are both huge Carl Sagan fans so any remake of his work is right up or alley.

About Me

I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps and following my discharge I decided to pursue a career in pharmacy while majoring in Biology. After a week in General Chemistry I realized that I was making the wrong choice and switched fully to chemistry immediately. I am an undergraduate at UNCC and plan on attending graduate school with a focus in analytical chemistry. I have been completing undergraduate research for the last 2 years, mainly in analytical chemistry .My GPA is 3.9 and I am finishing my mathematics minor as well.

I have experience in charlotte">tutoring Organic Chemistry II during the summer. I also have served as the Undergraduate Assistant for Quantitative Analysis and plan to again in the Fall.

I hope to bring a wealth of knowledge to a charlotte">tutoring session. Chemistry can be very difficult, and many people lack the ability to translate this information into a language in which someone can understand. I like to make the subject both familiar and interesting to the student, which helps with understanding and retention.
