About Me
I graduated from the portland">University of Portland with a degree in biology. I plan to take some time off before I apply to medical school. My career goal is to become a physician.
As a student at the portland">University of Portland, I worked as chemistry lab teaching assistant. I helped students set up their experiments and understand the chemical reactions. Although I do not portland">tutor any academics subjects for my tennis team, this experience has helped me to communicate effectively to a younger, high school-aged group. With my biology degree, I am confident that I can help anyone from elementary school to college with their science needs and with math-elementary/oregon/portland">elementary math up to Algebra and Geometry. I cannot wait to begin working with students and their portland">tutoring needs.
Growing up, I was able to do well in school due to my diligence and the positive encouragement I received from my family, friends, and teachers. I understand that subjects like math and science can be difficult, but with positive reinforcement and a helping hand, they can be understood and overcome. Math and science are subjects that involve a thought process, so as a portland">tutor I will take students through a process that will help them to understand concepts, all while instilling good study skills and hard work ethic so that they can succeed.
