Fun Facts
I am passionate about impacting knowledge. Once I discover a new recipe in cooking or a better method of solving a problem, in general any thing new, I love to share as soon as possible. On top of this I love music even though I do not have a perfect voice, I sing a lot regardless.
About Me
I am a graduate student of Industrial Enginerring at Morgan state university. I have been a graduate research and teaching assistant for the past two years. Upon graduation my goal is to become a researcher and professor in an Ivy League college
Experience
First, After completing my bachelors in mathematics. I worked at Ronbay pace setters high school where I taught grade 8 students mathematics. I prepared and taught them subjects as required by the school board.
Also, I worked as a tutor in the mathematics department at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. I helped freshmen with calculus/maryland/baltimore">pre calculus, calculus1 and algebra. I also taught Enginering chemistry for one year. With this I am able to impact knowledge into the lives of my students
Approach
From teaching my classmates mathematics in high school, I feel fulfilled when I'm able to explain mathematical terms in basic concepts that makes it easier and fun . I believe that with making teaching interesting, students see education as fun rather than a hard nut which is uncrackable. Helping students at their pace and recognizing that people learn at different rates enables me to maintain balance between students.
