Fun Facts
One passion of mine is that I love basketball and I played two years on my high school's varsity team. I spend most of free time watching and playing basketball as it is something I really love to do I am the second of four kids and I love spending time with my older brother and two younger sisters. I also, enjoy doing volunteer work. I have volunteered at Cedars Sinai Medical Center where I served on the volunteer program's advisory board.
About Me
I am a junior pre-dental history major at UCLA and due to this background, I am qualified to teach science courses in addition to writing based humanities classes. Once I finish my undergraduate studies, I am aiming to pursue my dental education at UCLA as well. Thus far in college, I have a 3.85 GPA and I was an honor roll student each year of high school
Experience
While in college, I have spent time doing private tutoring for high school and middle school students whether that be at their homes or at my local library. My background in science and humanities has provided me the opportunity to teach a wide range of students in a wide range of subjects. As I spent more time tutoring, my love for teaching and academics grew as well and I hope that working for Frog Tutoring will allow me to impact even more students.
Approach
Students struggle with grasping complex topics while in the classroom and at times have a hard time being fully invested in their academics. Therefore, my approach to tutoring and learning as a whole is to breakdown convoluted subjects so that it can be explained in a more simplistic way. Whether it be solving a problem or writing a paper when students have a deep understanding on the structure and have the necessary material in front of them, they tend to be more engaged, and therefore, excel.
