Fun Facts

I love horses and dolphins. As a child while on vacation in Puerto Rico I had the opportunity to go horseback riding. On vacation in Mexico I swam with two dolphins, it was amazing. I like to travel, listen to music and read. When I was younger I used to draw and was very good. Now, I enjoy music and writing.

About Me

I was born and raised in New York City and have lived in three different boroughs, so traveling is not difficult for me. I attend Lehman College and major in Nursing. Being able to help others is something I like to do and is my way of giving back to the community.

I have volunteered in a big brother/ sister program and helped children between the third and fifth grades with their homework. I participated in an arts and crafts program and helped children with art projects. I have organized study groups and tutored college students for midterms and finals in anatomy & physiology and other courses.

My approach towards bronx">tutoring is simple. First, I see where the student has difficulty in the subject in order to know what I should begin to focus on. I explain concepts and problems to the student, then allow him or her to complete problems. This allows me to see what the student has learned and what I need to go over. I am patient, so repeating myself is not a problem.
