People quickly learn that I love to travel and try different cuisines from around the world. I simply love to live life and explore. I would love to do more traveling and hopefully, one day, take a tour around the world.

About Me

I have had the pleasure of working one on one and houston">tutoring students from elementary school age to adults. I have tutored students in an after school program and privately. I have provided one-on-one services to students with who need help in language expression (oral and written) and language/reading-comprehension/texas/houston">reading comprehension. I have also privately tutored in math-elementary/texas/houston">elementary math and provided speech and language services.

I like to promote positivity and a "you can do it" attitude. As a person who has spent a lot of time in academics and who is currently in an academic setting, I am very aware of the challenges and stress that it can bring. I am always patient and try to encourage students to challenge themselves and recognize their own success.

Experience

I have had the opportunity to teach and houston">tutor many students over the years. I am currently an adjunct professor at houston">the houston">University of Houston and Baylor University. I am still a practicing speech language pathologist, so I have applicable experience. I have a versatile skills set, I can go from helping with accent reduction and ESL to houston">tutoring on a specific subject matter.

Approach

As a person who has spent years on both sides of education, as a teacher and a student, I most enjoy the concept of learning through experience and while having fun. I feel it' is my responsibility for students to truly grasp content and be able to apply it right away. As a houston">tutor, I bring encouragement and positive energy to each session.
