Fun Facts
I love black coffee, traveling, and my two cats! You can catch me riding my bike on the Bayou or hiking trails.
About Me
I've been teaching in the science classroom for the past two years. Now, I am moving to DC to start a post-baccalaureate program at the maryland">University of Maryland (go Terps!!) to apply to Pharmacy School eventually. My ultimate goal is to be a Medical Science Liaison for a cutting-edge biotech company.
Experience
I have been a licensed teacher for the past two years! I graduated from the washington">University of Washington in 2018 with a BS with Interdisciplinary Honors in Biochemistry and Chemistry. At college, I spend four years with an all subject mentoring group for high school juniors and seniors. I then went on to do Teach for America, where I taught Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Physics, and ran the Robotics team.
Approach
As a previous classroom teacher, I know that one-way teaching doesn't help all students. As a teacher and a tutor, I get to know my students, learn what they need to succeed, and then build lessons specific to their needs. I love helping students achieve their full potential, and working with Frog Tutorings allows me to help students, even outside the classroom.
