I am a huge fan of both the Michigan Wolverines (#GoBlue) and the Detroit Lions! I've lived and worked in both my home state of Michigan and my adopted state of California. I write screenplays and love watching classic movies and reading biographies of historical figures.

About Me

After completing my Master's in English from Cal-State Northridge, I'm looking to continue my teaching career by earning a Ph.D. in Film and Media Studies starting next fall.

Experience

As a former teacher with Los Angeles Unified Schools, I served hundreds of K-12 students to grow as learners and critical thinkers throughout my career.

Approach

I am a firm believer in all students' ability to learn. As a former education/michigan/detroit">Special Education teacher, I understand how students' educational needs differ and often need to be accommodated with different teaching modalities.
