Fun Facts
I am passionate about writing and I have written several short stories, poems, and unfinished novels. I was born in New York City, raised in Orlando, and spent my remaining years in Michigan.
About Me
I am a Health Services Administration major at the detroit-mercy">University of Detroit Mercy with a minor in Creative Writing. After I finish my degree I hope to attend law school. I want to eventually specialize in medical malpractice law and help as many people as possible while fighting for reform within our healthcare system.
Experience
I am currently working at the detroit-mercy">University of Detroit Mercy Writing Center where I assist students with their undergraduate and graduate essays. I have also worked with the Detroit Education Society through which I have tutored elementary school children in math and science at Detroit Public Schools. I have also volunteered at Mott's Children's Hospital in the Sibling Program where I helped facilitate a daycare service for children whose siblings were hospitalized.
Approach
I always found that I learned best by teaching others material in school. Helping others come to an understanding feels extremely fulfilling for me and I have had years of practice doing so. I have found that I have the ability to explain complex concepts in a manner that anyone can understand.
