I love learning new things--- I became a passionate outdoor rock climber a few years ago, and most recently I've picked up skateboarding and experimental sound production!

About Me

I am taking time off from school to pursue an apprenticeship with a performance art group in Hamtramck, MI. I train closely with masters from physical theatre traditions rooted in France, eastern Europe, and China.

Experience

I've worked with kids since I was a young teenager, and in high school I was a mentor to students to whom I was closer in age.

Approach

I am an excellent listener and embrace collaboration and encouragement over condescension. I don't give answers, nor do I push students to the point of harsh self-criticism. I allow my own joy in learning to guide my tutoring! I emanate curiosity and encourage students to indulge their own and to move through all the challenging and exciting feelings that come up when learning something new.
