Fun Facts
During my senior year of High School, I interned at a chemical testing and manufacturing lab for half of my school day. I have two younger siblings and two chihuahua/blue heeler puppies.
About Me
I'm a sophomore pre-med student at MSU, pursuing my undergraduate degree in human biology and minoring in mathematics. As a doctor, I intend to conduct biomedical research in addition to communicating my findings in a way that inspires tangible change in the world, thereby bridging the gap between academia and everyday people.
Experience
As the eldest of three children, I often had the responsibility of helping my younger siblings with their homework, which taught me the patience and understanding necessary to teach effectively.
Approach
My approach to tutoring is representative of my beliefs on communication broadly: Empathy, patience, and transparency act as my guiding tenets. To teach, I believe one must have a respect for their pupil as students but also as individuals.
