Fun Facts
When I'm not busy working, you're probably going to find my guitar in my hand. I'm always learning a new song, writing some lyrics, or just improvising a melody - as long as my fingers are moving, I'm happy. I've also got a passion for cars and racing. I'm an avid fan of Formula One, and have the long-term goal of working on a racecar team as a lead engineer. But, for now, I am happy to teach, make music, and be merry.
About Me
I am a recent graduate in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, with a 3.95 overall GPA. I have worked for Nissan, NASA, and General Motors, as both a computer scientist and an engineer. Besides school and work, I have participated in public speaking and racecar construction. My long-term goals include graduate school in mechanical engineering and becoming an automotive controls engineer.
Experience

I have since taught informally about probability theory, thermodynamics, physics, and a host of other topics. My proudest accomplishment is teaching my close friend public speaking, building his confidence and earning him an internship. Realizing my innate desire to teach, I am working for Frog detroit">Tutoring.
Approach
Throughout school, I have found that teachers who understood the fundamental concepts of a topic, and built logically from them, have taught me best. Thus, instead of teaching through rote memorization, I start with core concepts, and expand on them at the pace of the student. I endeavor to give my pupils the ability to reason, and to teach themselves, by showing them a framework for learning and building on previous lessons.
