Fun Facts

I am very friendly and I have good communication skills. I love practicing yoga and one of my favorites is Bikram Yoga in a hot room. I also spend my free time volunteering and working on interior design. Engineering degrees run in my family. My father is an engineer and my brother and I are finishing engineering degrees.

About Me

I am a senior in Industrial Engineering at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University. I have been on the Deans's List since my first semester at Wayne State. I was also accepted to A-Grade Program at Wayne State which allows me to work on my Mater degree as an undergrad student. I started my first master level class this semester and I am very excited.

As a member of Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honors Society), I had the opportunity to detroit">tutor students throughout the semester in different subjects areas. At the same time, I am the Assistant to Academics chair for Delta Zeta sorority in Wayne State . Through this position, I have held study sections and tutored my sisters in different subject areas when they needed help. Also, I was a Peer Mentor for Fall 2011at Wayne State. Through this position I mentored 15 students and welcomed them to wayne-state-university">Wayne State University.


I use "Make a friend approach" during my detroit">tutoring sections. Through this approach students are more comfortable to ask questions for problems they don't understand. I strive to not just demonstrate the proper solutions and methods, but to reveal how students can come up with them by themselves. I am very passionate when it comes to mentoring and detroit">tutoring students. Punctuality and self-discipline are one of my strengths.
