Fun Facts
I love the adrenaline rush of emergency medicine and every week I volunteer as an EMT at the local ambulance squad. This has been an excellent growing and learning experience for me and I would recommend it to almost everyone.
About Me
I am a recent graduate of Stony Brook University. While at Stony Brook I studied history and the pre-medical sciences. This upcoming fall, I will be attending graduate school in Washington D.C.
Experience
As a history and science student I have an extremely well rounded academic background. Through my preparation to take the MCAT exam I have developed excellent test based critical analysis and reading skills. I have tutored many students at my library and it is something that I enjoy.
Approach
I know how frustrating and discouraging it can be to not understand something at first. Many times concepts need to be explained in different ways before you develop a strong understanding of the material. Also, I would love the chance to make what you are learning interesting. The best teachers I have had were passionate about what they were teaching and through their enthusiasm for the subject material were able to fascinate entire classes.

History
AP Chemistry Tutoring
I have taken two semesters of General Chemistry at Binghamton University. These classes formed the basis of other chemistry classes that I took later on such as Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. I just recently reviewed all of my chemistry material in preparation for my Medical College Admissions Test.
AP History Tutoring
I took AP U.S. History when I was in 11th grade. I received a 4 on the AP Exam. I am currently a history major and will receive a degree with department honors.
AP Physics Tutoring
I took AP Physics when I was in 12th grade and received a 4 on the AP Exam. I have also taken 2 semesters of Physics at Stony Brook. I have just recently reviewed all of the Physics material in preparation for the Medical College Admissions Test.
Biology Tutoring
I took AP Biology when I was in 11th grade. I received a 5 on the AP Exam. Currently I am a Biology minor. I have taken two semesters of Biology at Binghamton University as well as Biochemistry at Stony Brook. I have recently further reviewed this material in my preparation for the Medical College Admissions Test.
